The Open-Air Bathrooms of the Beach Villas are enclosed with 7ft wall giving you privacy but allowing you to watch the wild life and take in the views. As the sun starts to set in the Maldives, the Fruits Bats come in to roost for the night up in the palm trees on Hudhuranfushi. They make clicking sounds throughout the day but seem more prominent as the sun goes down. When you see the Fruit Bats in flight, flying from one Maldives island to another they are so graceful.
The Banyan restaurant is the main restaurant on the Maldives IslandHudhuranfushi's where you can have Breakfast, Lunch and Serving buffet style with themed meals in the evening, Maldivian & international.

The Sunset restaurant serves tea/coffee, cakes, sandwiches and other snacks in the afternoon. Only serving la carte dishes in the evening, Maldives style food & international. With prior booking on Hudhuranfushi you can have a romantic candle light meal for two with your own waiter on the beach adjacent to your room (This is popular with newly weds).

Hudhuranfushi's Sunset bar is attached to the Sunset restaurant with a large decked area which is on stilts over the water giving a view of the Maldives marine life. At night Hudhuranfushi's sunset bar decking is light with spot light around the base of the decking. This aloes you to watch the Maldives marine life at night, you can get some great views of the black tip reef sharks (the sharks are harmless, more scared of us).
The Beach Bar is on the North side of Hudhuranfushi offering bottled water, soft drinks and canned beer. This bar is only open between 10.00 and 17.00
The Surf Bar is on the South side of Hudhuranfushi with great view of the surfers surfing the breaks. The main bar on Hudhuranfushi is called the Hiyala bar is located next to reception and swimming pool.

Hudhuranfushi has the name for being the best Maldives Island for surfing in the North Male Atoll. In the past under the former name Lohifushi the Maldives Island hosted the O'Neill Deep Blue Open World Qualifying Series (WQS) for three years.
The Maldives experience a very similar surf season as Indonesia. The best of the surf season can be enjoyed between March and November with the biggest swells likely to occur in June, July and August. During these months conditions are predominantly off shore all-day and the swell direction is mainly south, south east (SSE).
There is a great variety of reef break available for surfing ranging in intensity, from quite mellow shred able walls to gnarlier hollow pits. In North Male Atoll, between Male and Thulhusdhoo is an assortment of 7 breaks. These include Ninjas, Honkies, Coke, Chicken, Sultans and Jailbreak. Hudhuranfushi is within a 25 minute dhoni boat transfer on which you can purchase a surf pass to take up to 3 boat trips to other surfing breaks.
"JAILBREAKS" is a classic right-hander that was previously off limits. A long down the line of the right-hander it has 3 distinct sections that includes a mid barrel section with rides of up to 300meters can be had when it's lining up.
"HONKY'S" is located near HP reef, just north of Himmafushi Island. It is a fast wrapping left at 4-6ft and needs the right swell direction. Worth checking out if "Sultans" is crowded.
"SULTANS" is on the other side of the channel where "Honky's" is located. It is an easy right-hand take off which leads you to an intense wrapping section at the end. Breaks are around 3-8ft, please note this wave is the most protected from the southerly winds in the North Male Atoll and collect the most swell, so best to go there if it's small.
"NINJAS" is around 20 minutes further north which breaks off Kani Resort; this is a mellow right-hander which can be quite fickle.
"LOHIS" breaks on the south side of Hudhuranfushi directly opposite Kani Resort. The waves are long wackable quality Left-hander, Hudhuranfushi also has made easy access to the left-hander with a short walk and paddle. With the waves being very consistent at Hudhuranfushi it makes surfing good at any time of the year. The Maldives Island also has a bar on the surf side for those staying on or visiting Hudhuranfushi, with all your refreshment needs for you to watch or take on the breaks. There is a large decking area with plenty of seating to have a nice cold drink of your choice or just lay back and watch the surfers.
25 minutes north of Hudhuranfushi there are 2 breaks opposite each other at a reef pass. This right-hander is known as "COKES" (colas) with breaks 3-10ft. This wave has been well photographed and is the most hollow in the North Male Atoll. These waves will test your tube riding ability.
The left-hander known as "CHICKENS" is most likely to be the fastest wave in North Male Atoll. This wave holds swells from 3ft to well over 10ft and rides up to 500meter long.
Traditional shows This is a way for you to boggy the Maldives way. You can experience this on a Monday night at the Hiyala bar (main bar next to reception)
Fire dancing This show can only be seen every otyer friday from 22:00hrs next to Hudhuranfushi's Sunset bar and watersports centre.
Crab racing This is a good night for a laugh (a must see) on Tuesday’s at Hiyala bar (main bar next to reception) or next to Hudhuranfushi's Coconut spa from 21:30hrs.
Karaoke
Beach parties/Disco Lohi's bar on Hudhuranfushi's Surf side of the Maldives Island this bar is used for hosting some of the beach parties and discos until early hours if you are up to it, From 22:00 - 01:00hrs, on Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday nights.
Unfortunately Fun-Fushi is not hosting the beach parties and discos as it did last year. It is being used for the workers building Hudhuranfushi's Water Bungalows and for the building materials. This has been screened off using palm leaves.
Hudhuranfushi's underwater world hosts a superb reef, Diving and snorkelling is some of the finest we have ever seen (We have been to some of the nicest places in the world). The beaches on Hudhuranfushi are very nice with a real Robinson Crusoe affect. Quiet, clean white sands that make the Maldives what they are without the feeling of being westernized. The main effect of Hudhuranfushi is it reflects the real deal i.e. you know when you see the brochures and magazines pictures about paradise? You only get to see the very best picture possible. Well this is not the case with Hudhuranfushi; the Maldives Island really does reflect paradise.
Hudhuranfushi hosts its own diving school with Dhivehi, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian speaking instructors.
